Sometimes, getting an energy boost during the day is necessary. A lot of people look to a snack or drink to give it to them. Sugar, or carbohydrates give only a short burst of energy.

Try some alternative energy sources like these: Go for a five minute
walk. If you don’t have even 5 minutes to spare, just step outside and
take a minute to really look around and savor the day. Drink a large glass of water.
Do three minutes of deep breathing. Dance to a tune on the radio.
Take a short nap. These are all non-caloric, but I warn you, they may
be habit forming!
