Here’s a really fast, easy, and delicious way to make an entrée:

Use salsa as a sauce (that’s what the word “salsa” means to begin with)!

Buy an inexpensive jar of tomato salsa (mild, medium or hot) and spoon it over grilled, baked or broiled chicken, fish, pork or beef.

Better yet, make your own from diced tomatoes, ¼ cup diced onion, ¼ cup diced green or yellow peppers, and a dash of herbs (cilantro, dill, oregano, thyme, whatever you fancy).  Get creative and add some other good stuff, like chopped pineapple, peaches, mango or papaya.

Salsa’s not just for chips, dear friend!
