Go out bird watching today. See how many birds you can find, and make a
list. Listen to their sweet songs. Hear how many different sounds the
birds make, and see if you can identify the bird with her song.

Even better, go get an inexpensive bird feeder and some
seeds. Put it out, to attract birds to your windowsill. Get a pair of
binoculars and a bird guide-book.

Did you know birds are distant relatives of dinosaurs? They’re amazing
creatures. Birds can entertain you your whole life through.

I had a friend visit me the other day, and she found several new birds visiting us! We must
have been near a nest, as a Killdeer pretended it had a broken wing, to
distract us from her babies. I had never seen that kind of bird before.
