This week we’d like to introduce you to our Volunteer Host Moonstarwoman. We had a few questions for her and here’s what she had to say,

Do you have a goal as to anything that you would like to accomplish by virtue of being a Beliefnet host?
Moonstarwoman: I don’t really. I just would like to be the best Host I can be.
What prompted you to volunteer?
Moonstarwoman: At the time, Christianity Debate really needed some help with a few “difficult” posters. I had been around a while, and decided to help, rather than complain.
Have you met any Beliefnet members who have become a friend off-line?
Moonstarwoman: I haven’t, but there are many many people I would love to meet in person. I have formed many strong friendships over the years.
What do you most enjoy doing when you are not online?
Moonstarwoman: I enjoy my grandchildren…what else would a grandmother say? 🙂
Do you have any suggestions for members who are new to the site?
Moonstarwoman: Sure. Don’t come on the site with guns blazing and attitude. Slow down and don’t look to “stir the pot”… and always … always be respectful.

What do you think is the dumbest question you yourself have ever asked on a message board, here or elsewhere?
Moonstarwoman: I think one of my first posts was “Hello? Anyone here?”
Who is your role model?
My late sister Arlene. She died several years ago from Ovarian Cancer. I miss her every day.
If you could invite any famous person to become a regular poster on your message board, who would that person be?
Moonstarwoman: George Carlin
This week we were very saddened to learn about the passing of a beloved Beliefnet member, LeeThePisky. May he rest in peace.
