I admit I was going to write about how much better cartoons were when I was growing up, but then I realized something:

I haven’t watched cartoons for years, save for a rare episode of Sponge Bob or Speed Racer when I was in college.

To me, The Jetsons, Scooby Doo, Super Friends and Woody Woodpecker were really good cartoons for a lot of reasons.

I loved thinking ahead of how things might be from The Jetsons, or enjoying the action of Super Friends and the corny humor of the other two cartoons.

Cartoons used to be so simple, graphically in particular, but were still so enjoyable.

The only one that drove me nuts; Tom and Jerry.

It drove me crazy Tom was soooooo tantalizingly close to catching Jerry and never could hang on to him.
