When it comes to the presentation of the Christian faith on television, nothing quite compares to Jesus of Nazareth, the 1977 Franco Zeffirelli miniseries that made its U.S. debut on April 3rd of that year as an NBC Easter presentation.

Here’s a clip from the the classic film in which Jesus (portrayed by actor Robert Powell) delivers the Beatitudes and The Lord’s Prayer.
