Don’t make lingering goodbyes.  We’ve talked about that before, but this is the season of “goodbyes” to goodies.  People say, “I’m going to start a diet the first of the year, so today I’ll eat fudge.  This is my last candy for a long time.”

The trouble is that it isn’t just about one piece of fudge.  These “so long” goodies can last for the entire Christmas season and add up to a lot of extra weight that you could be carrying around for months or even years.  Besides, sugar can be an addiction. The more you eat, the harder it will be to get off it.

Make it easy for yourself.  Leave the goodies without saying “goodbye.”

Eating to live and living for Christ,
