You knew that exercise is good for your circulation.  You can feel your blood pumping, oxygenating all your organs as you do a vigorous workout.  Did you know that you have another circulatory system going on?  It’s  like the body’s garbage pickup and recycling system.  It’s called your lymphatic system.

The lymphatic system picks up  the toxins floating in your blood and disposes of them.  It also kills pathogens that make you sick and it traps cancer cells. You want this system to work efficiently!

Your blood circulatory system has a pump — your heart.  The lymphatic system doesn’t have a pump, so it’s important to keep it moving with exercise.  The more vigorous your exercise, the better this system moves along.

If you can’t do vigorous exercise, you can use a trampoline — or a whole body vibration machine. One way or another — you want to keep your garbage pickup system working without a hitch!

Eating to live and living for Christ,
