“You can’t hate yourself healthy. You can hate yourself thin, you can hate yourself fat; but healthy is a place you have to get to with love.”
(Fit Mama Training)

When you love someone you do what is best for them — whether they appreciate it or not.  Kids would prefer to lie around and play video games while eating junk food.  If you love them, you don’t give in, but insist on school and vegetables.

If you hate yourself, and have a poor body image — you will either put yourself through torture to look acceptable, or you will stuff yourself because you don’t feel you are worth the bother.

To be healthy means treating your body like you would your child.  You insist on doing the things that will keep it feeling great and going strong.  That means cutting back (or out) the sugar, grains, and empty calories.  It also means that you insist it get up and move!

Take care of your body!  It is a gift from God, who designed it perfectly for your temperament and personality.  Besides, it is the only place you have to live.

Eating to live and living for Christ,
