How can a horse help you bring more value to your life?

Well if you look at it from the perspective of a horse race, you’ll see it very easy.

Three times per year—the first and third Saturdays in May along with the first Saturday in June—the Triple Crown horse races are run.

In each of these races, the winning time is between two and two and a half minutes.

And over the last 100 plus years there’s been historic moments in some of these races.

Why am I bringing this up?

Because a lot can happen in a two to two and a half minute race…legends are born, legacies are left behind, money is won and lost, dreams are fulfilled, and in some cases even the death of a race horse.

How does this apply to you?

It starts by bringing up the question…

“What is the meaning of time to you?”

And with that being said I want to share something with you that I mentioned a few weeks back.

Take the time to read this and not only think about it, but also see where it applies in your life…

Because it’s one of the most important reminders you’ll ever get from me:

To realize the value of one year—ask a student who has failed a final exam.

To realize the value of nine months—ask a mother who gave birth to a stillborn.

To realize the value of one month—ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.

To realize the value of one week—ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realize the value of one hour—ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.

To realize the value of one minute—ask a person who has missed a train, bus, or airplane.

To realize the value of one second—ask a person who has survived an injury.

To realize the value of one millisecond—ask the person who has won a silver medal in the Olympics.

To realize the value of a loved one—have them leave.

Time waits for no one.

Treasure every moment you have.

I did not come up with this. It was found on the internet and the author is anonymous.

But that doesn’t matter…

What does matter is that you really value how precious your time is.

Your life’s journey is one big time continuum. You have 24 hrs. per day just like everyone else. What’s different is how you spend that time…and how much you treasure and value that time.

Whether that time relates to what was stated above or in a similar way as it applies to your situations, the fact is that you can accomplish so much in a short time frame.

So again, really think about what I shared with you in a new way…

Because it can and does make the difference as to how much you shine and really show the world how special you are.
