The Mercury Retrograde period is over, and I don’t know about you but this has been a particularly challenging one for me!  Knowing about Mercury Rx makes the challenges of missed appointments, erroneously terminated websites, lost checks, and endlessly renegotiated real estate contracts somehow make sense and it alleviates a lot of the aggravation.  Mercury is retrograde!  I throw up my hands and laugh.
The one thing that’s gone easily is the redesign of my website which I’m very excited about.  Joanna Powell Colbert has designed a beautiful logo and a company called Sites to Go is helping me to organize the ever-growing volume of articles on my website.  The new site will be unveiled sometime next month.
Mercury Rx challenges don’t always end the minute Mercury turns direct.  Sometimes there are some lingering difficulties that can haunt us for a few days or a week.  But overall, we will be mostly in the clear beginning February 1.
In other planetary news, the Moon is in Aries where it is energized and enthusiastic but not particularly patient with emotional dramas.  This morning the Sun forms a harmonious aspect (sextile) to the Sun, integrating the conscious mind with the emotional realm, making this a period of emotional balance and inner harmony.  Later this evening (around 8 pm EST) the Moon will begin to form a square to Mercury that could create challenges for communication and make it more difficult for us to separate our emotions (Moon) from the messages from our mind (Mercury).  This influence will have moved on by tomorrow morning.
