Americans Consume Three Pounds of PB a Year
Which brings us back to the real problem with peanut butter. It’s the reason we broke up. Peanut butter is just too yummy. It scores just a little bit too high on the mmm-boy-I’d-sure-like-a-little-more meter. The average American eats about 3 pounds of this stuff a year, which is too much of a good thing. So enjoy peanut butter in moderation (get the natural types, even if you have to stir them) … and if you cannot temper your peanut butter love, maybe you better just steer clear.
