Thank You; No Thank You
In reality, we can never achieve perfection. We will make mistakes; we will fall short. We will invariably receive feedback from others. Sometimes, this feedback will take the form of criticism. Ask yourself, “Is this valid?” If it fits, say: “Thank you” to the person or just to yourself. You have just learned something important and this information will help you to be better in the future. If it doesn’t fit, say: “No thank you.” Don’t take it on and don’t base your self-worth on what other people say and do—they are not always right.
