Do I have to exercise to the point of sweating?
A recreation teacher of mine once said that healthy people sweat when they’re having fun. I always thought the opposite: that I was unhealthy if I perspired. I always hated to be wet, hated exercising and using my body. Now, I’ve come to realize that being active makes me feel superb, and I love it. So much that I play an hour a day, always. It’s a very high priority with me, just because it gives me so much joy and pleasure.
To answer the question: no, it’s not necessary to sweat – just move and have some fun in the process. Get up and get out every single day, and enjoy yourself. After you’ve been doing this for awhile you may find you enjoy sweating, but don’t worry about it at first.
