Did you go off of your food plan today? Did you overeat or binge?
Just admit the problem to God, and ask for guidance and help to not do it again. Forgiveness is yours for the asking.
Then get right back on your food plan. Keep the daily logs and emotional journal going. Did you have too many carbohydrates? For the next meal don’t have anything made of grains. Was it too much protein – did you have a huge portion of meat or nuts? Have only vegetables as a main course next time. Did you binge on ice cream or chips? Try having less dairy, or starch tomorrow.
While you’re having your next snack or meal, pray, pray, pray. Receive the forgiveness and patience your Creator provides in unlimited ways. Indulge yourself in God, instead of too much food.
Soon, you’ll have the spiritual and emotional power to avoid doing what you know you don’t really want to do in the first place.
