A nice profile of a monastery in Morris Township, with one weird statement, that begs for elaboration:

Along with Sister Eliane, the three are the only nuns who were living at the monastery in 1988 and 1989 when five other sisters, who objected to changes in the rules, barricaded themselves in the infirmary for nine months.

"People do remember it," said Mother Therese, who transferred from a monastery in Norway in 1995. "But the vast majority of the community is new."

Huh?
