Lots of things going on in Chicago:

Cardinal George has directed the Chancellor of the Archdiocese to to oversee a review of  child abuse issues. Here’s the statement from the Archdiocesan website (pdf file)

And then there’s "Mission Chicago" – a concerted revival effort which is going to make excellent use of one of the Archdiocese’s greatest gifts, Fr. Robert Barron.

Fr. Barron will be preaching in several parishes throughout the Archdiocese (pdf file). This weekend there will also be a Festival of Faith at the convention center in Rosemont, from which Relevant Radio will be broadcasting live.

Looks like someone’s head is in the right place – half the challenge of leadership is knowing the resources you’ve got available and using them. Looks like with this "Mission Chicago" – that’s been figured out.

The Archdiocesan site has details.
