I used to teach at a school that had so many problems, one of the teachers was convinced it had been built over a native American burial ground and was haunted for that very reason. New principals every year, soap-opera drama of the highest degree…and I see that it hasn’t ended.

It’s been discussed here quite often – this sort of thing must be a powerful compulsion – this town is not large. It’s not tiny, but it’s not large, either. To engage in this kind of behavior, when you’re the principal of the only Catholic high school in the area, speaks of tremendous folly and an imprisoned spirit.  This school has had enough problems over the past 15 years – to deal it another blow like this is selfish beyond belief.
