Years ago I had the opportunity to go to Rome and had the chance to climb to the top of St. Peter’s. On the outside there were signs stating that no one was supposed to write anything on the walls. This sign was placed right next to oodles of scribbles and everything that ignored the rules. IMG_3431

Graffiti is everywhere. So is faith. Graffiti is on walls, on tables, on overpasses so high you wonder if anyone got hurt trying to spray paint.

But I think the graffiti of faith is on our hearts. It might not be visible in the same way, but it’s there. There may be words or pictures of people who have entered our lives at some point in time. There maybe questions that seem to dog even the most faith-filled people.

What’s the graffiti of faith look like for you?
