Whole Foods CEO is interviewed by Matt Welch and Nick Gillespie of Reason.tv. Very interesting revelation of who he voted for in the last election (and no, it wasn’t Obama). You can watch the full hour video here.

I’m incredulous at his cavalier attitude towards his company’s health care package. Is he not interested in employee retention? Then how does he earn “best company to work for?” He doesn’t want his health care package to be portable, though he talks as if that’s a downside.
BTW, Wegmans regularly beats him out, though, admittedly they aren’t Fortune 500. They probably do too much philanthropy for that.

Very interesting. As a high end health care user, I’m always interested in alternatives to socialized healthcare. Moonshadow, I thought he was saying he wanted the health care package to be portable. I understood him to say employer based health care wasn’t the best idea.

Yes, that’s who we need telling us how to run healthcare. A bong shop owner who made billions in bean sprouts.

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated

An update and a prayer request
Several people have asked about Michele's condition, and have promised to pray for her. On her behalf, I thank you for that. I spoke with her a little while ago, and she asked that I come here and tell you what's going on, and to ask you to pray for her. She isn't able to post here herself right
