So, in communist countries, I’m sure that the propagandists make decent money but do you think it’s at the level of Michael Moore? Would a propagandist’s film be promoted by a magazine in a penthouse furnished by sponsors:

Following the Premiere, Esquire shuttles many of the attendees straight down to SoHo to the opening of The Esquire Apartment – a fully decadent penthouse where every square inch is paid for by a luxury sponsor. Hot tub, $120k pool table, $60k home theater, fine food. The only thing lacking was a doormat saying “Welcome To Capitalism.”

NBC calls it “ironic genius,” I can think of another name for it.
Well, Michael Moore is certainly blessed to live in a country where you can be a hypocrite, cozy up to dictators, and then rake in tons of money from people buying tickets to see your films (which he protects by asking his audience to turn off their recording devices).
Where else can you make this kind of money criticizing your country:
Box office for Sicko: $36,055,165
Box office for Fahrenheit 9/11: $222,446,882
Box office for Bowling for Columbine: $58,008,423
Box office for Roger and Me: $7,706,368
Isn’t capitalism grand?

Oh, and btw, here’s Michael Moore’s backer.
