He suggested I have the port removed from my chest as soon as we are done with the treatment and I will only need to see him every three months. I think he suggested I take out the port because he believes I won’t be needing it. When he suggested I could use a port, he mentioned that sometimes people wait to make sure that the cancer doesn’t come back before they remove it but now he’s says I don’t need to. This makes me think he might believe the cancer isn’t going to come back.
And on the plus side, I don’t have thrush (from the steroids) this time like I did the last two times.
