No, not in an Islamic nation but in the UK, of course. So, they don’t have freedom of speech, they don’t have the right to bear arms and now they appear to be sadly lacking freedom of religion:

“Making them pray to Allah, who isn’t who they worship, is wrong and what got me is that they were told they were being disrespectful.”
Another parent Karen Williams, 38, whose 12-year-old daughter is a classmate of the boys, said: “I am absolutely furious my daughter was made to take part in it and I don’t find it acceptable.
“The teacher had gone into the class and made them watch a short film and then said ‘we are now going out to pray to Allah’.
“Then two boys got detention and all the other children missed their refreshments’ break.”
She added: “Not only was it forced upon them, my daughter was told off for not doing it right.
“They’d never done it before and they were supposed to do it in another language.”

This is pretty strange given the fact that their state religion is Christianity, somebody might want to tell this teacher that it you are going to force the children to pray to God it should be God and not Allah. And in a Christian state you would think that the teacher would understand that it’s wrong for any children in the class who actually happened to be Christian to pray to a foreign god. It violates the first commandment:

Exodus 20:3 “You shall have no other gods before me.”

Thanking the Lord yet again that our founding fathers rebelled against England. They certainly knew what they were doing 🙂
BTW, you know whats annoying about the reporting of this story, they don’t have to reason why the boys wouldn’t participate. Maybe they’re atheists and don’t want to participate in a religious ritual because it violated their beliefs. They could be Christian and doing it because they can’t compromise their belief in their the one true God.
I doubt they were Muslim but wouldn’t a Muslim have a problem with a nonbeliever leading their child in prayer?
