The power of the word of God. They should have mentioned what he was reading:

A father of two confessed to killing his wife and showed police where he had buried her body after reading the Bible in prison, a court has been told.
Garry John Mills, 33, has been sentenced in the Supreme Court in Brisbane to 10 years’ jail for killing his wife Jolene, 29, in their Ipswich home on July 9, 2005.
Mills, who dumped the body in a shallow grave, was originally charged with murder.

But he pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter on the grounds that his wife had provoked the brutal attack.
The court was told Mills and his wife, who had been childhood sweethearts, had a tumultuous relationship with a history of domestic violence.
