Prayer, Plain and Simple

Prayer, Plain and Simple

A Prayer for Monday

Let’s let this be our Monday Prayer:

“Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us and prosper for us the work of our hands        O prosper the work of our hands!” Psalm 90:17

Father,

We invoke your presence and your power into our work-week. GentleMan that you are, you don’t invade where you haven’t been invited. I need your involvement in every step of my day, every thought, every word, every idea, every encounter.

Ignite, inspire, and infuse my work with Your glorious presence. I plead for your wisdom and understanding, counsel, and might, knowledge and the fear of the Lord.

Amen.
