Dallas Willard says, “Over our churches…there hangs a cloud of failure, driven home by statistical studies…a lack of transforming power of Christians in our society.”

We Christians can tend to stay the same and when we stay the same, we don’t stay the same; we entropy. The transformational power of the Spirit gives us the opportunity to truly change. I don’t know about you, but I want the New Me – the Real Me, not the old, disgruntled, touchy whiny one that sulks, but the new one that dreams, laughs, and enjoys the constant Presence of God.

“He saved us…by the cleansing bath of the new birth (regeneration) and renewing of the Holy Spirit…That we might be conformed to the Divine will in purpose, thought, and action.”
Titus 3:5,7 Amplified

Father God,

Save me from myself, wash me in your cleaning bath, renew me through your Holy Spirit and conform me to your perfect and divine will for my life!

In Jesus Name,

Amen
