Massive 8.9 Quake Strikes Japan

posted by Mark Herringshaw

A 13-foot tsunami strikes the northern coast of Japan, washing away cars and damaging buildings, after a powerful, magnitude 8.9 earthquake rocks the coast. There is a tsunami warning issued for Hawaii.

“God, bring peace to traumatized residents in Japan. Bring safety and healing and miracles of grace in this terrible moment. Guard those in the Pacific in the path of any tsunami. God, you are good. We trust you.”

Lord, You are the author and perfector of all things. I ask for comfort and protection for the people of Japan, China, Haiti, and New Zealand; I ask for blessings and the covering of Your healing grace on all those who must endure suffering for the greater good of Your master plan. And for those who remain unaffected I ask that these cataclysms be used to soften hearts and restore faith in Your Holy Grace.
