A suicide bomber attacked soldiers in Peshawar Pakistan during morning exercises at an army training camp on Thursday. 31 troops died and 42 were wounded.

The army and police said the bomber was a teenager. The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility and said the boy who volunteered for the suicide attack was a soldier at the camp.

The bombing was one of the worst attacks on security forces in months. Despite years of war against Taliban and al-Qaida-linked fighters along the Pakistan – with Afghanistan border, insurgents retain the ability to strike terror.

“God, break the grip of terror in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Bring peace in these regions in the grip of Islamic terror. God, whatever it takes, root out the underbelly causes of terrorism and terrorism. We stand against the demonic strongholds of violence here. Let truth and peace reign, finally and completely! Jesus, reveal yourself and your Kingdom to many there. In Jesus, the Prince of Peace.”
