I am saying that breathing will enhance your ability to exercise, in addition to help you burn fat! When we breathe deeply, we develop our capacity to bring more oxygen to our hearts and lungs. Cardiovascular fitness depends on how much oxygen our hearts and lungs can deliver to our cells. The better our capacity to take in deep breaths – not shallow breaths that are solely felt in the chest; but rather deep breaths that fill our belly first, then our chest and then our throats to fully capacity – the less likely we are to hit the ‘wall’ when exercising. So now that you know why breathing well is so important, do take in deep belly breaths.
