Our Lady of Weight Loss Tarot: The Hermitess

Click to Mix and Solve
I thought it would be great fun and utterly useful to spend each Sunday, not only keeping our hands and minds busy with Our Lady of Weight Loss’s Get Jiggy JigSaw Puzzle, but also with a Weight Loss Tarot Reading!
I a thrilled to kick off this new weight loss happening that is overflowing with creativity, fun and art with “THE HERMITESS.” First, the Tarot Reading. Ingest every word. And then, as you click away the calories, working on the jigsaw puzzle, think about The Hermitess’ message and how it applies specifically to you.
The Hermitess
The Hermitess stands alone in her trust that she can nurture herself. She understands that it is time to choose a path that moves her away from comfort foods, away from society’s view on food, diet and body type and size and towards her own compelling future.
The Hermitess understands that introspection is required for self-mastery. She desires peace and solitude, which affords her time to sort through, think, organize and take stock of her life and the ways in which she can further create a truly satisfying life.
Even though others may not understand, it is imperative that you walk your own healthy living path, on all levels.

  • Your Name

Nice picure Janice!I don’t know how to develope a pathway of life like that of a hermit, lol, but i aspire to be one,not exactly like the one on the puzzle but at least when i make some great effort to be like the hermit, then acting like and doing like a hermit gets me close
to that image, though,i find my life pathways the way as what my heart is leading to,because when we dont love the things we do or leading us to,then our journey through life will be a road thats long and winding, not a good place.I just trust that God will draw my life’s map,and i will just pray, keep the prayer in my pocket, that’s it!

I just added the Hermitess to my journal which I write out by hand in a special book. The name, Hermitess,is sorta off-putting, because most of us want to be social animals, but the philosophy is important. I find so many friends going to diet doctors to tell them what to do. I think we have to believe we can nurture ourselves.

Hi! The Hermitess is fashioned after the Tarot card, The Hermit. I’m using the major arcana of the Tarot as inspiration for my Weight Loss Art. I’m delighted that you were able to get past the name and leap straight into the meaning! Enjoy your journey! Nurture thyself! Janice
