Kick in the Tush: What are you looking for?

MaryJo confessed that she frequently, throughout the day and sometimes into the
night visits her refrigerator, tugging on its doors – opening and closing them – peering in the vegetable bins and sometimes the freezer.
On occasion, she gets down low on her knees and peers behind the partially empty bottles of ketchup, mustard and mayo.
“What are you looking for?” I asked.
She didn’t know, but whatever it was, we were both pretty much positive that she wouldn’t find it in the fridge.
We talked a bit and brainstormed and came up with a simple idea that helped her to stop this mindless activity.
MaryJo put up signs on the fridge and cabinets that asked, “What are you looking for?” As soon as she saw the sign, she smiled and walked out of the kitchen.
All was working brilliantly until one day, MaryJo sadly reported to me that she was back to mindlessly peering in the fridge.
“What happened?” I asked. “Aren’t the signs working for you any longer?”
To which she replied, “Oh, they fell down.”
If your signs fall down, please – put them back up!
Spread the word … NOT the icing,
Janice

wow, janice, you ‘re a sweetheart!today’s article is something that reminds me of my dad who is always watching me,making sure i have a healthy eating habit, and healthy sound mind and body.Sometimes,i overeat, and it isn’t good because my stomach will expand and i remain at my overeating, eventually,my stomach steadily expanding until it became a habit again, and then, like today,i am shaking .and i ate food i am not eating before, must be that it’s giving me a sign that i am
gaining too much sugar, and i hear my dad screaming again, lol. When we know somebody who cares about us is sad about our impending diabetes
disease, lol,we will make immediate effort to go back to the right path of healthy lifestyle, and i hear my dad when he screams, when he
is sad,i feel very sorry and wanna make him smile again by eating fruits and vegetables again.thanks janice.
