After reading yesterday's blog post "The Answer,” Our Lady of Weight Loss suggested that I create a gift for you. Something that would give you cause to pause, a moment to reflect and ponder the ultimate question“What Am I Looking For?”
As you know, I do what I am told! For your refrigerators, kitchen cabinets and any other place that you would like to post the question “What Am I Looking For?”click here for your printable sign!
Be sure to comment below and answer the question … What are you looking for?

Brilliant!!!!!!The search for food as a metaphor for the search for a meaningful life–a satisfying life–a gratifying life: We become so immersed in our melodramas and the conditioning and life patterns in which we’ve used food not to feed and restore the body but instead the ubiquitous refrigerator raid is used to soothe and fill the emotional emptiness or pain or boredom etc etc. We lose the big picture and sometimes we need a very concrete reminder: a veritable zen stick (celery stick) to whack (gently, of course) some sense into our heads and to remind us to wake up and become aware: Can I stay with the feelings or do something differently to care of myself?
    Thank you our Lady!!1

Thank you, thank you, I was just telling a friend how I routinely find myself running to the fridge each night, seemingly wearing a path from my living room to the kitchen. Posting this on the door will definitely get me thinking in a different direction! Awareness instead of a zombielike mentality that draws me out there each night will be of great help…thanks again!

i am looking for internal peace….peace and quiet from the constant voice that gives me grief! food quietens her for a bit, so does wine…maybe i could make her be a bit nicer to me then she would be my friend?

Comfort. I head to the fridge when I have tough decisions to make or when “homework” is staring me in the face. Rarely am I hungry when I yank open the door…

#OneWord Thursday: #Money #Money #Money - Show Me the $$$
Hello Tushkateers,  This morning, I woke up with money on my mind.  It could be because this past Tuesday was April 15, Tax Day.  It could be because yesterday’s mail delivery was chock-full of bills.  Or, it could be because as I was drifting off to sleep, a lottery commercial was airing.  (
