Our Lady of Weight Loss

Angel Quest Random Act of Kindness Cards kindly keep foodies away from the fridge. (A Review)

Imagine shifting your attention from yourself, from those ever-present thoughts of food, from the endless inner-chatter to the calm and well-meaning Angel within.
And now envision this inner-Angel coming forth and perhaps … adopting a street corner for one week, making a point to pull a few weeds or picking up trash each time you pass by – or – buying beautiful flowers, placing them in a vase, and giving them to someone else –or – committing another wondrous act of kindness.
Angel Quest’s Random Acts of Kindness Cards present an opportunity to ‘play’ the kindness game. And while I’m willing to bet ya’ that Angel Quest did not foresee that their Random Acts of Kindness Cards would be a weight loss aide, they are.
Thinking about someone else, spreading happiness, good cheer, and letting go of your own stuff, without question lightens.
Angel Quest Random Acts of Kindness game is a set of 100 cards with 100 acts of kindness anyone can do. There are 10 lavishly illustrated cards per box at $9.95, giving you an opportunity to mix n’ match and trade with your friends. And most importantly, to open your heart and mind to kindness.
For more information go to Angel Quest.
Lighten Up with Our Lady of Weight Loss as she slips paper hearts that say “Have a Great Day” under the windshield wipers of parked cars! What Random Act of Kindness might you commit today?

Thank you for the angel articles I enjoy reading them so much. I love angels and believe they are with us. Everyone who knows me knows I love my angels. My work area is sounded by angels, people send them in the mail to me, I have received so many as gifts one lady traveled from Seattle Washington to Nashville Tennesse with a angel cutting board to bring to me. They are in my kitchen, bathroom and everywhere I am my angels are also. But, most of all I believe in angels and truly believe I have a guarding angel. When people have problems they come to my cubical to sit and talk mostly for the comfort. One lady lost her mother and told me at night she would come to my work area and sit and found so much peace and comfort just sitting there. Thank you so much for these uplisting articles they are truly a comfort.

I just wanted to share a poem I wrote on Ressurection Day, here goes.
Abiding Angels Angels, angels everywhere, To you, you must care, God’s abiding Love, Surrounds us like a dove, Wings upon the Greatest Being, Not for us to be seen, Feather light, feather white, Only to be in our sight, God’s the Greatest One of All, To catch us when we fall, Angels so meek and mild, To help our inner child, Beauty lives within, Angels live without sin, For you God grants a wish, An angels tender kiss, Upon your cheek, Ever so meek, God Bless Us One and All, For God and angels to catch our fall. Forever B.

Thank you so much Janice Taylor for allowing the Holy Spirit to use you. Lovely poem Ruby, it is very inspiring. Reading your words makes my whole continence light as a feather. Stay in the flow.
Ms. Taylor, my daughter and I so admire angels. We collect them and give them away as presents and they are always welcomed. People I don’t even know will automatically start talking about the Bible or faith or prayer whenever and wherever I show up–without me having said a word. This always amazes me. My sister says that people see “the light” of God that surrounds those of us that believe. I am convinced, it must be true and truly I am grateful for my angels and the favor of God on my life. Bless you and your audience.
