I had a big response to Tuesday’s post in my Law of Attraction in Action series called “Something Good Will Come of This.” People wrote they need to etch this into their brain so they’d have it handy when something goes wrong. One said she needs to tattoo it onto her forehead! It is something that should be remembered so you can use it when adversity hits you or you begin to doubt if God is listening to you or wants you to be happy.

When you have a thought or affirmation that you find really helpful, write it down on a big paper and put it up where you’ll see it every day as a reminder.

Print it out on a large paper and make several copies. Then tape it up in several places in your living space. No need to tattoo it onto your forehead! Write it down–clearly. When I do it, I put one by the mirror in my bathroom, one by my bed, one Inside my front door so I can see it whenever I leave my apartment. Some people find it helpful to put inspirational says and affirmations on post-it-notes and put them all over. I have a few of those too.

Even when you know something, seeing it around your place gives you a constant reminder.

Right now I have a Stickie Note on my laptop with a quote from Larry Bird: “A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.” I’ve been tired lately and it makes me a bit lazy while so many things don’t get done. Seeing that quote often is a good kick in the butt for me to remember to keep going no matter what.

I intend to accomplish my goals and notes to self remind me of my determination and vision.

When you read something that inspires you, write it down and find a place to put it so you see it often. As you find new ones, either make room or retire one for a while. I prefer to have one or two good ones to focus on instead of a whole bunch. You might prefer the whole bunch. What matters is that you do what will work well for you.

Note to self: I will find my inspirations and make more notes to self with them!
