Barack Obama’s campaign is sending around a last-minute fundraising pitch.
It centers around a video – a very impressive video – they have compiled showing how excited people are about his campaign. I couldn’t figure out how to embed it here so you’ll have to click here to watch.
Here the VERY weird thing. Virtually the entire audio track for the video is his 2004 DNC speech.

Since we are in the season of slicing and dicing everything – even campaign promotional videos – this is a bad move.
The man has been running for president for more than a year and the audio the campaign choose to highlight is from his speech – very, very good speech – during John Kerry’s convention?
It would seem a bit more powerful if the audio were from, let’s say, last week.
