I was struck by the beauty and serenity of these final resting places. I couldn’t choose among the photos taken that day, so I decided to share several.
I was reminded of this poem:

Epitaph for a Romantic Woman

She has attained the permanence
She dreamed of, where old stones lie sunning.

Untended stalks blow over her
Even and swift, like young men running.
Always in the heart she loved
