Is this a Christian t-shirt or a worldly t-shirt?

In other words… is it bragging or poking fun?

I think that is definitely a “christian” t-shirt, a non-christian wouldn’t wear such a horrible shirt.

If you think that, you’ve never been a part of science fairs or many other high school extra curricular activities.

First off, it’s great to see that Jon Foreman (Switchfoot) is doing modeling for teen clothing. Good for him.

Regarding the shirt’s sacred nature, all I can really say for sure is how inspired I am. Moved, really. The synergy of such culturally relevant imagery with the best product on the market (Jesus) just sets me on fire for the lord.

Bwahahaha! Jon Foreman modeling! He wouldn’t be caught dead in that awful t-shirt. But to answer your question …

I would hope it’s poking fun, but I’ve seen too many bad Christian t-shirts (and I use that phrase loosely since I don’t think t-shirts need salvation, except from may nasty yellow armpit stains) to think it’s not a “Christian t-shirt”.

I’ve always preferred to worship teenage Jesus too. Reminds me that He has born my every burden…

‘christian’ or ‘secular’…..IMO, it’s just bad. Like sporting-a-ripped-abs-God’s-gym-Jesus-who’s-ready-to-bench-press-your-sins BAD.

BAD, i tell you.

BAD for Xians who think it’s an acceptable, pleasing way to ‘witness’.

BAD for non-Xians who think Xians are dopes who have embarrassed themselves to the point of receiving such mockery.

OK…..maybe the last statement is true.

I stand by the statement that Christian should never be used as an adjective…Ever. (Especially with garbage like that shirt.)

It looks like a mock-up of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” Either way, not really much of a witness.

It doesn’t just look like a mock up, it IS one…

“Is it bragging or poking fun?” That question could be asked about pretty much ANY “Christian” T-shirt (because, you know, the shirt itself invited Jesus into its life to be its personal Lord and Savior). “Godweiser: This Blood’s For You”? If SNL did that, Donald Wildmon would be howling for a boycott of NBC. Christians do it to themselves and it’s just fab.

I would wear that as poking fun..and I’m a Christian, but no longer identify as Evangelical.
