Well, according to Ted Baehr, yes! Who’s Ted? He’s the founder of Movieguide and somebody who once worked for me while I was the music and entertainment editor of Crosswalk (that’s long story that I’ll refrain from reliving on my blog). Anyway, Ted is mad! He’s really mad! At Comedy Central! In fact, he’s so mad at Comedy Central that he’s leading a social media crusade against CC because the funny network is planning to produce a animated TV show called JC.

Yep, JC… as in Jesus Christ.

According to Charisma News, the show is about Christ wanting to escape the shadow of His “powerful but apathetic father” and live a regular life in New York City.

Here’s what Ted (pictured below) thinks about JC

“The very concept of this show is blasphemous and Christophobic. Comedy Central wouldn’t develop such a show about Mohammed, the founder of Islam.  So, why do they want to develop a show mocking Jesus Christ and Christ’s relationship to the Father, first person of the Holy and undivided Trinity?”

So, what do you think? Will you be one of the 500,000 people to join in Ted’s campaign?

And if you answer no… I must ask, are you Christophobic like Ted thinks JC is Christophobic?

Thoughts?!
