Uhh… wow. Thanks to the artist for basically summing up why many people living internationally aren’t interested in hearing Jesus’ teachings.

And please don’t get me wrong- I love my country, but a lot of people overseas don’t agree with America’s moral and political practices. I’ve stopped saying that America is a Christian country- I say more often that there are a lot of Christians in America. The difference is huge.

That Jesus look prettier than I did at prom. But I was pregnant at prom, so I did have that same “glow”.

Oh, and Happy Memorial Day!

Hahah…pretty sure Jesus lived in the Middle East and died as a radical at the hands of the Roman empire. Maybe someone should tell the artist that :)

p.s. Great book – Jesus for President by Shane Claiborne & Chris Haw.

Yes, many around the world disagree with the moral stands America takes. The real question is how many of America’s stands and actions does Jesus actually agree with. Does he really want to be on our flag?

Everyone knows that Jesus is an American who loves us and hates out enemies. That’s why its okay to worship America!

It’s good to see the 13 colonies are still being remembered.

I love my country and the freedoms I have here, but I dislike the arrogance of presuming our country is first, best, most. Period. I can think of many other nations who are made up of scores of “the least of these” whose flag Jesus would be better suited to. We are indeed a nation with many Christians…the difference is huge.

One of the more blasphemous things I’ve ever seen. Thanks for posting and making us aware that this stuff is out there.
