The Jazz Theologian

Last night of Discover the Gospel in Jazz

Tonight is our seventh and final week of our time together.  When I first started thinking about what it would be like to get together in a church and listen to great jazz and allow it to serve as a metaphor for our faith I had no idea how much fun it would be.  You all have been a true delight.  Yes, we will do this again…and again…and again.

Blue_hugh_diffI would like to take this out into the community.  I believe that what we have been doing will work well in local "secular" venues where we advertise to the community and not just CCC.

Hugh Ragin will join us for our final session.  This man’s knowledge of jazz and skills on the trumpet are unmatched in Denver.  We are in for a treat.

Our final topic will be, "So What."

Stay in the groove,

Glad to hear the plans for expansion of this. I agree it would be a great way to draw people that wouldn’t normally go to a church invite. I’ve already mentioned this to several people and they showed interest in attending one.
thank you again for doing this and all the effort and work that has been into it. Its been great especially for us creative people. Love to see the church embracing the arts in a whole new way. God Bless You and Keep you and your family serving Him wholeheartedly.
