You’ve Got a Friend with James Taylor and Carole King

posted by Jennifer E. Jones

This week, I’m looking at friendship. We already kicked it off with yesterday’s blog on “Who’s Your Best Friend”.

This is a great song about friendship. Send it to someone you love.

“Hey, Is not it good to know that you ‘ve got a friend?
    People Can Be So Cold.
They’ll hurt you and desert you.
Well they’ll take your soul if you let Them.
Oh yeah, But Do not You Let Them.”

How true! but if you have a friend always have to turn to, I for one have my wife who is always by my side for better or for worse. regards

I grew up singing this song. It was my favorite. When I took an acting class, they made me sing this without the music. I got a standing ovation.

The Problem with Pain
I’ve heard people say, “How do I get over something if it still hurts?” And yes, forgiveness is key, whether it’s aimed towards yourself or someone else. However, it’s not really the main issue. What people really want to know is, “How do I deal with the pain?” The problem with pain
