Have a Magnificent Day!

“People come into our life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.”

Kindness is a language everyone understands.  We each want to be treated with love, kindness, sincerity and respect.
Do we consistently treat others this way?
Are we truly good to ourselves?

When these qualities are absent, harmony and balance are lost and trouble is close at hand.

It is wonderful and fun when relationships are going well and developing nicely.  When challenges arise is the real test of a person’s character and principles.  These moments reveal the nature of our patterns of behavior.  When important issues come up, we usually revert to our oldest and most basic patterns.  These moments require honesty and openness to have healthy and successful relationships.

When survival issues are at stake such as money, sex, religion and power, people do the strangest things to maintain control or dominance.  We humans can be foolish and harsh to win or get what we want.  It is sad, because what truly matters is love, friendship and kindness.  These are the treasures we take with us in our hearts when we pass on.  Money, sex, power and material possessions cannot be taken with us when we die.  They do not keep us warm at night or comfort our heart and soul.

Some people come into our life for a reason to accomplish something for a short while or for a lesson.  A singular moment or experience can be so profound it affects our whole life and we remember it forever.  Lessons and trials take many forms.

Some people come into our life for a season.  The time can be special, powerful and wonderful.  It is not always easy to let these people go when the time is complete.  It is important to allow people to come and go appropriately without attempting to hold on or control the relationship or experience.  If it is meant to be long term or last forever, the relationship will let us know.

Some people come into our life for a lifetime and these are the “keepers.“  They share our lives and hearts.  A real friend shows love, kindness and compassion and does not judge.  Friends are unconditional, care and want our best.  Real friends are God’s blessings!  They are a special gift.  Be a friend.

The tricky part is to know whether a person or friend is in your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.  Regardless of how long they are in your life for, be sure to give them the best you have every moment. There is always some blessings, benefit or lesson gained.  Acknowledge it and be thankful.

“People are the greatest resource in the world!”

You can have whatever you want without violating the rights of others.  So keep your awareness burning brightly, as these are challenging times.
