A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.

Life is a wonderful opportunity.  Every moment contains within it exactly what we need to grow and thrive.  Being healthy is an essential part of living a successful life.

What about our spiritual, mental and emotional health?  How much does mental and emotional health contribute to physical and financial health?

Having a positive attitude is being optimistic about ourselves and life.  It is wise to expect good things, good situations and good opportunities and to remain calm and optimistic in the face of negative appearances.

Optimists smile frequently and pessimists frown.  Optimistic people see problems as temporary setbacks or learning opportunities and create solutions.  Pessimistic people see problems as permanent and do not think they can do anything to change them – so they usually don’t.  Pessimists also tend to complain a lot.

There is a big difference between reacting and responding to life, situations and circumstances.  An optimist faces challenges and responds creatively where a pessimist fears challenges and reacts often as a victim.

Optimists see challenges, problems and difficulties as opportunities for growth, creativity and success.  They have a healthy attitude and stay cool, calm and collected in the face of challenges.  Optimistic people see what is happening and make better decisions and create solutions.

Life doesn’t happen to us, it happens through us and we make a choice every moment whether we are aware of it or not.

Make it a positive and prosperous day!

smiles,

The MEGA Coach

Below is a video about Alice Herz-Sommer, she was the oldest Holocaust survivor until her passing.  Her attitude is remarkable.  She is grateful and optimistic about life even after living through what most people would consider a nightmare.
