Have a Magnificent Day!

Slow and Steady Wins the Race

posted by The MEGA Coach

Our world is changing rapidly.
Technology has forever changed our lives.
There is one time zone.
It is the “now.”

So many people want everything now.  They want instant gratification and they want to be an overnight success.  The Internet, laptops, i Pads and i Phones have added to communication and the distribution of information.  It does not change the Natural Laws of the Universe.

True success requires following the proper principles of life.  True success requires gradual development.  Every successful person has spent years developing themselves and their craft.  They had to pay their dues, learn their skills and develop their talent, product or service.

What comes fast usually goes fast.  What comes slowly usually lasts longer and develops a solid foundation.  There is a special beauty and feeling of accomplishment that goes with natural, organic development of oneself, one’s talent, creative endeavors, relationships and success in business.

It is like growing a magnificent garden: first you clear and weed the soil and make sure the earth is fertile.  Then you plant good seeds and water and care for your garden.  You keep the faith and watch the seedlings sprout.  You don’t dig up the dirt to make sure the seed are growing before they sprout.  The harvest comes as you let the plants mature with love, care and joy.  You give thanks for the harvest with an attitude of gratitude and share it with others.

Just because technology is instantaneous in today’s world, does not mean that the principles of growth and development have changed or should be discarded.  Quality and good things take time.  It takes 9 months for a baby to be born.  Relationships and friendships take time to grow and develop trust and strength.  Let nature take its course and allow the universe to flow in its own time.

In the fable the “Tortoise and the Hare,” it was the tortoise that won the race.

Let life happen and follow its natural rhythm.
Let the music take you and dance.
Patience is a virtue that still has great value.
The good things are worth waiting for…..

smiles,
:) Lee
