The Science of Becoming Excellent

In reviewing one of my favorite authors, Wallace D. Wattles, “The Science of Becoming Excellent,”
I came across some wonderful information that I want to share with you.

“It is essential to our happiness that we should continuously advance.”

To be successful, to be happy we must grow and develop in our lives or we stagnate.
When we are growing and expanding and learning new things, we stimulate our health and creativity.
If we stagnate, we hurt ourselves, our health and well being and actually start to decay.
You are either growing or dying, there is no in between.

Remember that growth includes a number of key areas.
You grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically and financially.
So it is important to grow in a balanced and harmonious way.
Although you may find it easier to grow in one way or another, it is necessary to grow in all of these areas.

“We were formed for growth and all things external were designed to promote our growth.”

“You are a god in the company of gods and must conduct yourself accordingly.”

By living these key principles you will discover success in all areas of your life.
Encourage your growth in all key areas and know that in your growth and overcoming whatever challenges may come, that you are actualizing your full, creative potential.  Also, whatever circumstances you encounter, they are designed for your best development and greatest possibilities.

By acknowledging that you are created in the image of God, out of God’s energy, you have to be what you truly are.  A magnificent and all powerful, Spiritual Being.  This also requires that you acknowledge that all other people are also magnificent and all powerful, Spiritual beings.  We must treat each other with the respect we deserve from this viewpoint and reality.  Simply put, we must follow the Golden Rule at all times.

“Be true to yourself and you cannot then be false to anyone.”

Continue to follow your intuition to grow and expand in your natural desires and interests.
Make sure that you give yourself balanced growth, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically and financially.  You can be, do and have anything in this world as long as you do not violate the rights of others.

Give yourself your divine plan, under grace and in perfect ways.

smiles,
:) Lee

Good information from Dennis Waitley: "In a way, human beings behave like bees.  If you place several bees in an open-ended bottle and lay the bottle on its side with the base toward a light source, the bees will repeatedly fly to the bottle bottom toward the light. It never occurs to them to

The Fern and the Bamboo
A wonderful story and metaphor: One day I decided to quit…I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality.  I wanted to quit my life.  I went to the woods to have one last talk with God. “God”, I said.  “Can you give me one good reason not to quit?”  His answer surprised me.
