Courage and Determination

posted by The MEGA Coach

We live in interesting times.
The advances of technology bring us information around the world instantly.

The past few years have brought financial challenges and upheavals the likes of which
most people have never seen or experienced before in their lifetimes.

The middle east is going through radical changes.
Terrorist activity – any type of violence against others seems widespread.
People are going through severe hardships and our planet is calling out for care and conservation.

Roy Eugene Davis asks,
“How do you live freely in a world being unduly influenced by negative news or unpleasant circumstances?”

He suggests:
1) Observe current events with dispassionate objectivity.  Regardless of what occurs, know that an intelligently directed Power is certain to eventually produce ideal conditions for everyone.  You can nurture the collective consciousness of the planet with your optimistic thinking, spiritual awareness and constructive actions.

2) Adhere to a wisely chosen, holistic lifestyle.  Be mentally peaceful and emotionally stable.  Acknowledge the innate, divine nature of everyone while being self-reliantly self-determined.  Be responsible for your personal circumstances and improve your understanding of your true, spiritual nature and relationship with the Infinite.

Be thankful that you have the invincible power within you to prevail.

Like the Jaguar, be courageous and determined.
Know there is a Higher Power and that we are one.

blessings,
:) Lee

Absolutely! One of my favorite encouragement quotesabout choosing how we react to the whirl of events around us is:

“Experience is not what happens to you; it is what you do with what happens to you.”

Freedom of choice is a powerful gift. Choosing how we respond intstead of reacting makes a huge difference.

The Fern and the Bamboo
A wonderful story and metaphor: One day I decided to quit…I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality.  I wanted to quit my life.  I went to the woods to have one last talk with God. “God”, I said.  “Can you give me one good reason not to quit?”  His answer surprised me.
