It is important to understand that success is not achieved through changes on the outside of your life.  Change or transformation only occurs when you change your inner life – your belief systems, values and the way you think and act.  This is why 80% of all Lotto winners are broke within 10 years and why they have the highest suicide rate.  Success is not achieved by changing your circumstances or job or where you live.  Success is achieved by changing your inside reality.

The first step to becoming wealthy requires a shift in your mental belief systems and reality.  You must acknowledge that wealth and prosperity have a spiritual basis.  Everything is made up of energy and all energy comes from God or Infinite Intelligence or whatever your name is for this source of all of creation.  Since God created man in his own image with the co-creative ability, man is directly linked with the God force and can manifest freely. 

In ‘The Science of Getting Rich,’ Wallace D. Wattles states that ‘you cannot rise to your greatest possible height in talent or soul development unless you have plenty of money.  Your right to life means your right to have the free and unrestricted use of all the things which may be necessary to your fullest spiritual, mental, emotional, physical and financial unfoldment.  In other words, you have a right to be rich.’

Emmet Fox, masterfully states in ‘Alter Your Life’, ‘You can have prosperity no matter what your present circumstances may be.  Man has dominion over all things when he knows the Law of Being and obeys it.  The law gives you power to attain prosperity and position without infringing on the rights and opportunities of anyone else in the world.’

In ‘The Science of Becoming Excellent,’ Roy Eugene Davis writes, ‘It is life’s natural inclination towards the direction of unfoldment, growth and completion.  To harmonize with this influence is to experience certain success in all useful ventures.  Because of our essential divine nature, we are designed to prosper – to thrive, to flourish and to be successful.  If we are not being successful, we have lessons to learn.  Learning our lessons and actualizing our innate soul qualities is the very purpose of human existence.  We might as well do all we can to fulfill the purpose for our being here in this world.

You are designed to experience total completion.  You are designed to be spiritually aware, mentally creative, emotionally well, physically vital and happy in relationships.  To settle for only partial fulfillment is error, and you will never be truly satisfied until you rise above and are free of the barriers which restrict and limit the soul’s aspirations.’

Now that you acknowledge that true wealth has a spiritual basis you must open your mind to prosperity and to receiving.  It is a vibration, an energy and state of consciousness that attracts health, wealth and perfect self-expression to you.  In its root the word ‘millionaire’ means abundance and happiness.

You are prosperous to the degree that you are experiencing health, joy, peace, harmony and abundance in your life.  Being wealthy and prosperous is actually a necessity for spiritual growth.  You must have money and whatever resources needed to expand and grow.  You need to be able to afford a comfortable and quality place to live, transportation, cloths, shelter, food, etc, in order to have a good life and enjoy life as God intends for all of us.  Prosperity gives you the freedom to unfold spiritually, without having to worry about your finances or to sweat the small stuff.
