The debut release from pop band Press Play, Life Is Beautiful, hits stores today, and if you’re tired of the same old same old in Christian music, you need to check it out. In fact, even if you’re not a Christian but you like pop dance/electric rock music, you’ll love this new offering. The album features some great dance music as well as the lovely Latin influenced “I Love Who You Are”, the worship ballads “Unashamed.” “Angels Sing” (with guest Joel Bodker) and “Fill This Place” (with special guest Darlene Zschech. The album also features Tyler Williams and IROCC on the rap influenced (rap? hip hop? forgive me if I have that wrong …) “Say Say”.All proceeds from the sale of Life Is Beautiful will go directly to the Los Angeles Dream Center, which provides shelter, life rehabilitation, education, basic needs, job training and numerous resources through their 273 programs and outreaches in Los Angeles’ most impoverished neighborhoods. The members of the group – Dave Hanley, Tyler Ray Logan, Anthony Rick, Paige Adkins, Tate Huff and Brian Mondragon – are all committed to serving the Dream Centers in New York and L.A., and are actively involved in ministries and service projects at both locations.
