IsraelHoughton.jpgWhen President Elect Barak Obama takes the oath of office on Tuesday, several Gospel artists will be part of the inaugural celebration.
The 2009 Heroes Red, White & Blue Inaugural Ball, scheduled for Tuesday night at the Warner Theater in Washington, will include Gospel artists Israel Houghton, Robert Randolph, Donnie McClurkin, and Bebe and Cece Winans, as well as Josh Groban, Anita Baker, George Duke, Slash, Naz, CHIC, Gary Morris, Lillias White.

The Heroes Ball is hosted by Citizens Helping Heroes, a charitable organization dedicated to helping miliarty families.
Billed as “Legends Past, Present and Future,” the concert brings together multi-generational music icons to honor wounded servicemen and women recently returned from Iraq and Afghanistan, their families, active-duty personnel serving overseas, military leaders and other honored guests. The event will also benefit USO and TAPS, and will be broadcast in its entirety to military bases around the world via the Pentagon Channel. (I think you can watch the Pentagon Channel online.)
For more information, visit the Heroes Red, White & Blue Inaugural Ball website.
