TheAfterspromopic.JPGABC’s hit drama “Grey’s Anatomy” is currently using “Ocean Wide,” from The Afters’ sophomore record Never Going Back to OK, in promotion for the show.
This isn’t the first time the band has had music used in TV promotion. “We Are The Sound” from the band’s latest record, Never Going Back To OK, was used in promotion for last season’s “American Idol,” and the viral video for “MySpace Girl” was featured on E! News, Seventeen.com and TV Guide Channel’s website.

Songs from Never Going Back to OK were also used on the Rachael Ray show as well as on Dr. Phil. The Afters’ music has been used by MTV, mtvU, ABC Family and E! News and has been featured as well as on HOT AC and VH-1 radio and magazines like Billboard, BOP and Popstar.
The band launched onto the national mainstream music scene in 2005 with their debut, I Wish We All Could Win. The single “Beautiful Love” was used by American Airlines and American Eagle stores, helping to earn them the mtvU Award for Best Streaming Video in 2005 as well as a Dove Award for New Artist of the Year in 2006.
